I had long imagined a universe filled with hybrid animals, creatures that had evolved in isolation, never discovered by humans. Like a hidden Madagascar untouched by mankind, where unique species could morph and adapt over millennia. My intention was to design surreal creatures that felt tangible and believable, as if they had truly evolved in secret and were only now being revealed.
