Created for TED-Ed, Are We Living in a Simulation? is an educational short animated by Eoin Duffy and Henrique Barone. The film explores the idea that reality may be a constructed system governed by mathematical rules, using a giant hand to reshape the world as if it were fabricated matter. The result is playful in tone, but visually sharp and conceptually unsettling.

Rather than treating simulation theory as pure abstraction, the film gives the idea physical form. A god-like hand presses, pulls, and reshapes the world itself, turning a philosophical question into something tactile, humorous, and visually immediate.
